Wien Trees, Schiele Poem

egon-poem

I was really disappointed when I got this roll back from the lab ,
Everything turned red … but now it seems to work .
Yesterday I was reading a book of poems and letters by my favorite artist Egon Schiele.
He wrote :

I ENTER INTO THE REDDISH-BLACK
CATHEDRAL OF THE DENSE FIRWOODS
WHICH LIVE ABSENT OF NOISES AND
REGARD THEMSELVES
IN A FACIAL EXPRESSION
THE EYE-TRUNKS GRASPING EACH OTHER
TIGHTLY AND THE VISIBLE
WET AIR EXHALE
THE WELL-BEING EVERYTHING IS
LIVING DEAD .

-EGON SCHIELE

This photo was takin in the forest down the street from one of his studios in the 13th district of Vienna.
